TES 2009
| TES “Technology Enables Success” is an exclusive event by DLD2009 & Burda Digital Systems. Without any doubt, Technology is an important component for the economical success of a business. Which technological solution to apply however depends on many factors like strategy, business goals, implementation speed, costs, processes, customer access etc. For the first time, TES gathers knowledgeable speakers from all over the world and allows us to see behind the curtain: In four panel discussions on Cloud Computing, Mobile, Software-Security and Ecommerce, online-related companies present their technological solutions and discuss contextual challenges in a clear comprehensible format, suitable for decision makers. “Technology Enables Success” is a by-invitation-only conference with limited contingency, which took place on Tuesday, January 27, from 2pm until 7pm, at Kardinal-Faulhaber-Strasse 12 in Munich. |

„In the colorful world wide web, it is often forgotten or at least not visible, that the right technology contributes fundamentally to the business success and supports strategy. I am very glad, that Burda Digital Systems had the opportunity to invent this new conference together with the DLD Team and as partner of the DLD. The aim of the conference is to discuss relevant technological challenges in a clear comprehensible format, suitable for decision makers. Speakers of well-known and interesting online-companies have offered a view behind the curtain. In the discussions it became clear that similar challenges can have different relevancy depending on the viewpoint and the differing business goals.” |

“We are living in times where technology plays a pivotal role for the success or failure of a company. Hereby, the entire value chain will be affected: From steering the network of suppliers, organizing internal processes to offering the product to the customer. Even more so, if this customer is a reader or user of a media company who will get in touch with the service via an internet-service.”Therefore it is not only economically sound, but rather a strategic imperative to install an internal unit that sets a robust framework around the multitude of technological challenges. In effect, this can mean in one case offering own services to the internal customer, and in the other deliberately rely through decentralized decisions on external suppliers. Hence, Burda Digital appears to me as a both logical and necessary building-block in a promising corporate strategy.” René Seifert´s Blog
